Privacy policy

Foraging Maps is run by NordSys. This page explains what data we collect and why.

What we collect

• Spot submissions: if you use the "Add a spot" form, we store the name, location and description you submit, plus your name and email if you provide them, so we can follow up if needed. Submissions are reviewed before appearing publicly.
• Contact form: if you use the contact form, we store your name, email and message so we can reply.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used - pages visited, general location (country/region level), device type. This uses cookies; see Google's own privacy policy for how they handle this data.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share spot-submission or contact-form data with anyone outside NordSys except where legally required.
